I also have alot to learn with them to get where I want to expertise-wise! I love the softness I can get with the cp's.Carol Andre'https://www.blogger.com/profile/01275080610972975558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5130175264380832676.post-80370547281480946312010-07-06T19:40:25.358-07:002010-07-06T19:40:25.358-07:00Your works are beautiful Carol. I end up painting acrylics or gouache over the pencil, just to darken or to give me a surface I can paint on. Another thing I like to do - I use clayboard and then if I'm not getting the color I want with the layers, I can scrape down to the clay and start over a few times if I need to.Debra Keircehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12391213568280558242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5130175264380832676.post-54610175466834154462010-07-04T01:40:01.647-07:002010-07-04T01:40:01.647-07:00Sorry to hear the problems you had with the suppor...Sorry to hear the problems you had with the supports, Carol. I'm not much help with coloured pencil, but have you tried crescent HP watercolour board? Very nice duck though.Tracy Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02618327920955524004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5130175264380832676.post-2630999851353333062010-07-03T23:55:31.484-07:002010-07-03T23:55:31.484-07:00This is beautiful Carol. The only thing is I find you can't easily rework it, like the board you used, once fixative has been applied. I love seeing your pencil work and look forward to seeing more :))Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840364245091965136noreply@blogger.com
