Egret and Heron miniatures

I've recently finished an egret miniature and also a great blue heron miniature. Don't usually do two birds in a row like that, and now I'm starting on a bald eagle. Must be in a "birdy" mood!

Heron is done in casein. 3"x2"

The egret is 3.5" x 2.5", done in mixed media (casein and acrylic)

Beautiful work, Carol. They both just pop off the page. Such glowing colors! Glad to also hear you have your harp! Sending you love and good thoughts on your sadness now. Peace to you, your family and your sick friend.

These are stunning Carol - I love the light and colours in the foliage and the background - they set the birds off so well!!! Take care and thinking of you xx

Carol-
Love the birds!! It looks to me that I need to put them into the front page and let the rest of the world know about those birds!! Getting some much good work into our miniatureart forum that it is hard to caught up!!! Good work, friend!!
